Voyagers (by JC)

Summary:  A poem of search and discovery, seeking and finding love
Category:  Poetry
Genre:   Blank Verse
Rated: PG
Word Count:  50

Two hearts, yearning,
Rushing, rising, falling,
Like the restless surf
Pounding the ocean strand;
The encroaching tide, engulfing,
Sweeps them into the raging storm.

Two souls, breathless,
Gasping, drifting, drowning,
In the undertow
Beneath devouring waves.
Lungs burning, near to bursting,
Find air, then life on a new shore.
